Cynthia Peacock, MBA, founder and lead consultant at Grow the Practice (GTP) by Biz Virtuoso Consulting Group. Founded in 2006, GTP is a specialized healthcare marketing and management firm formed to advised medical professionals on customized solutions that assist in the launch and growth of sustainable enterprises.
Bringing over 10 years of strategy and branding experience with organizations of all sizes, Ms. Peacock works closely with her doctors to designed the ideal programs that will impact their businesses and result in increased patient volumes, higher reimbursements and a thriving profitable brand. In 2009, her observations of the unique challenges facing medical professionals helped her form the groundwork for the development of The Virtuoso Physician Model™. The Model is utilized as an assessment tool to determine market position and opportunities, customized approach to branding and marketing and measurement tool to help private practice owners succeed.
Prior to GTP, Ms. Peacock started her professional career as a commercial real estate associate. Following 4 years in the business, she transferred her experience and customer base to the consulting sector working with top financial services marketing firms advising million dollar producers at Morgan Stanley, UBS, Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney. Following the launch of Biz Virtuoso, Ms. Peacock continued to advise customers in the sectors of education, transportation, financial services, non-profits, and medical services during which she identified her deep passion for advising medical brands and professionals in the changing healthcare landscape.
GTP, currently provides business strategy, capital raising, consulting, branding and marketing services to small to mid-sized medical groups throughout New York City and in Washington, DC. A sample list of the group’s client list includes Be Well Medical Group (Concierge Medicine), Eugene Gasana Jr Foundation (Rwandan Pediatric Cancer Hospital), New York Pain Management Group (Pain Management), Ez Rehab Solutions (Physical Therapy), and Morrison Plastic Surgery (Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery.) Ms. Peacock holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behavior, a dual undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Biology and minor in Chemistry. She currently lives between New York City and Washington DC advising her clients on the critical ways to become a Virtuoso in their businesses.
